Since serving on the Grandville City Council, Councilman Meringa has been a part of and supported some pretty amazing projects that have improved our community in many ways.  Thanks to WCET-TV, some of these projects have been highlighted with feature videos.

'Rosie the Riveter' Memorial Rose Garden @ Wedgwood Park

The 'Rosie the Riveter' Memorial Rose Garden was recently established at Wedgwood Park to honor and commemorate the contributions of women working on the Home Front during World War II.  This video is from the dedication ceremony and ribbon cutting on 9/24/19.

Councilman Meringa helped establish this garden in collaboration with the Neal E. Fonger American Legion Post 179 and the Grandville Department of Public Works.

Grandville 4th of July celebration 2019 highlights

Councilman Meringa serves on the Grandville Park & Recreation Board, which organizes the City's Annual 4th of July Celebration.  This video highlights some of the activities from the 2019 event.

Kayak Launch on the grand river

The City recently developed a handicap-accessible kayak launch off Indian Mounds Drive on the Grand River to enhance recreational opportunities for residents to enjoy the Grand River.
